{UAH} Over 250,000 at Papal Easter Mass in St Peter's Square

Pope gives his Urbi et Orbi Blessing to a packed St Peter's Square and to over a billion televiewers all over the globe.

Pope Francis delivering his Easter message to the 250,000 assembled in St Peter's Square and to the world. After the message he gave his Urbi et Orbi Blessing to the Eternal City of Rome and to the entire world. Africa's Congo DRC and South sudan figured very prominently in the Pope's message in which he underlined many of the things that perturb the good existence of mankind. At the end of the message and of the Blessing the Pope was wildly cheered by the countless thousands of pilgrims whose first numbers arrived in the Square at dawn!

Easter has been celebrated with pomp but under very tight security especially in France and Italy.
