Why does Dr Museveni hate and demonise Islam and Muslims?

Throughout history Dr Museveni has distinguished himself as a
deliberate hater of both Islam and Muslims and he accommodates them
just as a matter of convenience or where inevitable.
Dr Museveni left Uganda on the second day of Amin's rule. What study
had he made of the leadership of Amin in one day except the inherent
hatred.
Dr Museveni recruited Muslims to fight Amin and he dumped them after
victory- these included Abas Kibazo Shk Zubair Bakari Mashoor Haj
Kibuye and others.
Dr Museveni created a Christian Muslim group to dupe the Muslim world
especially Col Gadhaffi it included himself as Kassim then Hon Amama
Mbabazi as Ahmed his young brother George Akandwanaho as Salim Saleh;
he created Chefe Ali, Shaban Bantariza and many others.
When the Amin regime collapsed Dr Museveni was the next Minister of
defence in the UNLA Govt. Many Muslims were murdered in greater
Mbarara and West Nile Dr Museveni is alleged to have had knowledge of
the murders but he has never explained himself clean over this issue.
When he was fighting the Obote Govt. a group of Muslims were murdered
in a mosque in Bulo Butambala accused of supporting Obote.
These deaths have never been explained till this date. When ADF camps
were overrun many young boys and girls were captured. So many got lost
and there has never been a proper account of them. Those who were
detained at Luzira were persuaded to apply for amnesty and those who
accepted were released on condition that they get conscripted in the
state secret service. They started reporting against their fellows and
when information dried up now we see one by one being eliminated.
Dr Museveni mocked Muslims that he was going to unite them he formed
the Kabwegere committee and that was the end of the story.
Dr Museveni went to Somalia to further the interests of foreign powers
and enrich himself. The repeated reports of atrocities by Ugandan
soldiers are amazing. The Somali elite have not understood the Dr's
aim but shortly they will know.
When the Lugogo/Kabalagala bombings happened many Muslims were rounded up.
For every murder of a Muslim cleric fellow Muslims have been arrested.
When Joan Kagezi was murdered again it was Muslims who qualified as suspects.
When AIGP Kaweesi was assassinated still the Muslims formed the bulk
of suspects.
Now for every political murder, the primary qualification for one to
be suspected is to be a Muslim whether you are an adult or child.
APPEAL
To the non-Muslim brothers and sisters. This is a deliberate plan to
create enmity between Muslims and Christians but we assure you that we
all grew up in multi religious families and we studied, work and live
together with non Muslims so please don't you accept this
manipulation.
To the Muslims. Better wake up Dr Museveni will never like you
whatever you do. Stop accusing one another because the invisible hand
might use your weakness and finish you.
To those who are benefitting from Dr Museveni, you are just one of the
next in line for a terrible disappointment.
To Dr Museveni. Some of us know what you intend for Islam and Muslims
and we are determined not to be silent. We are aware that you have
blackmailed many Muslim leaders and those within your govt into
silence but soon this will be counter-productive.

Comrades, l don't think that President Yoweri Museveni personally hate
Muslims. But he is part of Ugandan society, which after religious
conflicts in Buganda in 1890S, regarded Muslims as trouble causers and
were condemned into third class citizens, to borrow from Prof.
Ssemakula Kiwanuka.
President Museveni is also part of post Idi Amin regimes that saw
Islam as a state religion for Idi Amin military junta as if Muslims
played any role in a coup that brought Amin to power in 1971.
As subaltern people, Muslims had welcomed Ignatius Musaazi;s UNC and
Obote's UPC inherited them. They thus had to welcome one of their own,
Idi Amin. He also did some affirmative action for them, and towards
end of the regime, when he was isolated he over relied to them, but
some also plotted against him. So it is bad to generalize.
There was no Muslim at Moshi unity Conference, although we could hear
the late Sheikh Ssennyonga on Radio Tanzania Dar ES Salaam. Lule's
cabinet, despite the fact that Lule was born a Muslim, had no Muslim
and when he was meeting Muslim delegation, he had to bring in his
Muslim sister.
In Obote ll regime, there was only one Muslim, Haji Ntege Lubwama who
survived narrowly Chris Rwakasisi and Oyite Ojok's raid, and by the
time the Okellos took over in 1985, there was no Muslim in cabinet.
NRM started with many Muslims like Al Haji Moses Kigongo, Haji ibrahim
Mukiibi, Dr.Sulaiman Kiggundu, Abu Mayanja, Bidandi Ssali, Moses Ali,
Kirunda Kivejinja, Amin Onzi, to mention but a few.
As l said on Salaam TV, it is strange to see that the Bacwezi or
Bahima/Bahuma.Batutsi/Batsietsie/Banyamulenge with all their oriental
background including veiling of women and turbaning of men, are not
Muslim. Probably they left Egypt or Ethiopia before the advent of
Islam but they equally did not practice Judaism or Christianity until
the coming of Protestant and Roman Catholic missionaries.
l think , we Muslims should also organise our selves better in this
multi religious, ethnic cultural society. Doctrines like turning
Uganda into an Islamic state as we see them in Middle East, should not
be entertained because they are a remote dream. It is the same with
Roman Catholics and Protestants. They can not turn Uganda into a
Christian state as we all know that many Christians and Muslims double
them with African Traditional Religion.
We should pressurize President Yoweri Museveni to operationalise
Kabwegyere report which is for reconciliation and unity among Muslims.
UMSC constitution has to be amended to accommodate Shiahs, women and
youth in administration. Let's also invest in national main stream
political parties, and with time , leaders will emerge. Calling Shiahs
non Muslims is uncalled for since Prophet Muhammad left us neither
Sunni nor Shiah. These are our own "bid'a."
Neither Christians nor Muslims should not apply armed struggle because
it is not justifiable now when we have regular elections and things
improve gradually, and worse still ,we have not reaped much, as a
country and people, from past wars.
Let's sing with Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Forward ever, backward never.
