Toronto police have identified Candice Rochelle Bobb, 35, as the pregnant woman fatally shot last night. Her baby is in stable condition in… Police are set to update the public on the investigation into the murder of Candice Rochelle Bobb, the 33-year-old pregnant woman who was killed in a drive-by shooting one year ago.
This morning, police are expected to announce that a reward will be offered in the unsolved case.
Bobb was returning home from a basketball game with friends in May 2016 when the car she was sitting in was sprayed with bullets in Rexdale.
She was pronounced dead in hospital while her baby was delivered four months premature and died three weeks later.
The vehicle's three other passengers were unharmed.
Police previously said the car was targeted but that Bobb was likely not the intended victim.
In February, police announced that anyone arrested in Bobb's shooting will also be charged with the death of her baby.
Bobb's family members are expected to be present for this morning's update.
