Answer the damn question you uneducated Ape! -> Ocen Nekyon
In my continuation of the series on how education was not made for Africans, one starts by wondering why Africans base every logical reasoning on going to school. The sentence made by a degree holder above refers. To this individual if you did not stand in front of president Iddi Amin to confer a degree of bachelor of science, you are an un educated Ape, and there wise shut the heck up.
After raising the death of Wacha Olwol I must raise a second death that has happened in Uganda and it made me shake my head. And it is the death of Obote's older sister Maliam Apenyu born in Akokolo sub county, Apach district. This old lady that passed away at a very old age of 96, died with all respect she deserved, and at her funeral all accolades that are available in Uganda were poured towards her, as she got buried at the British Corner village, Boroboro parish in Adekokwok Sub-county. But Maliam Apenyu has another reason to come into this discussion, she was a special woman for she belonged to the Otikokin clan. She had some very powerful and very educated Ugandans inside that clan let alone the family. And to sample for you a bit, she was the sister of president Obote, a man that truly went to school, he lead our country to independence, he lead Uganda twice and fought Iddi Amin {The an un educated Ape} to remove him out of power.
I can spend a second just to appraise you on the education this family has, for when you count Obote you must add the Sam Engola's, Obadia Akaki, one can as well add Bishop Edward Stanley Engena, I can add in MP Jimmy Akena, Mama Miria is as well in there, there is a Tony Akaki that attended Schiller International University, Glasgow Caledonian University, University of Maryland and the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. The degree holder that made the above statement is also in the list and he lives in United States and I will not bore you with his titles this time around, so this is a very educated family that was born with a true spoon in the mouth. But I can expand the family to include the Adoko Nekyon's the late Akena Adoko that passed away in UK as a highly educated lawyer. Look this paragraph can run for a whole day. They have degrees oozing out of their asses, so there is absolutely no question in my small mind that we are dealing here with very very educated Apes.
Here is my simple question, how the hell did Maliam Apenyu pass through all these degrees, and die with her hand out begging? And it never occurred to even a single member of this family to throw her a penny to take her to a God damn hospital? Seriously in all postings that Ocen Nekyon makes in this forum as a very educated man, was it so hard for him to post a need of this poor woman that passed away with a dry throat? So let me get this straight, in the entire two terms that Obote lead the country, in the time Mama Miria lead the party, in the time Ocen Nekyon started to work for Museveni in UNAA, in time Akena Adoko led the intelligence unit of Obote one government, running to London and came back to rejoin politics under Obote two government, to dying, it never crossed a mind of these degree holders that with life there is always a time of need? To all of you UPC members/supporters/sympathizers in this forum, many with backs buckling for you are carrying degrees on your heads, how the hell did you fail to even send this poor woman a firkin penny? How the hell did Maliam Apenyu pass through all these degrees and die with her hand out begging at age 96?
Fellow Africans take your God damn kids out schools for education is not a thing of Africans. We can surely invest into our continent way better than pumping money into firkin universities.

And that is how education has become very useless to Africans, it is not their thing. We need to stop spending money on investments that simply become un productive. And I beseech you all my dear fellow African friends, to realize the danger we are facing in investing into education. Can you imagine how much money this fellow took from the Uganda tax payer? Oh let me remind you as well that Wacha Olwol's family did not own a single coffee tree nor a cotton plantation, yet we had this UPC government that believed that educating Ugandans was the future of Uganda. No Education does not wake up brains of Africans.
And one can opine that a degree holder out of Dokolo will fly into Entebbe today, drive to Dokolo and still shit on the jungle. It is happening right today in 2017 in Dokolo, a district with the highest number of degrees in the entire country without a single toilet seat. Not even one. How the hell has that education helped this individual let alone our own country as Ugandans? Can you simply imagine if all millions of dollars we have spent as Ugandans to educate these things was pumped into infrastructure building, roads and bridges and so on? Uganda would be way forward by this age. The education that has sucked all money out of Uganda has made 3/4s of Ugandans to speak the English language yes, all taxi brockers in Kampala own a degree and many times a PHD yes, but we are losing babies at a frightening rate due to infection for more than three quarters of the population shits on the firkin jungle.
And one can opine that the very last time Uganda developed was during Iddi Amin time, yes Iddi Amin the very illiterate man. Since 1979 the country stalled for it was taken over by degree holders. For the record in 2017 Uganda does not own an airline which Iddi Amin started for Ugandans, in 2017 Uganda does not have a railway system which was started by Amin, in 2017 Uganda no longer exports coffee and cotton when the two were considered the Uganda main foreign exchange earning power during Amin days. On record, degree holder sat in Tanzania and waged a war on an Illiterate man removing him from power in 1979 and they have held the country to today. Most of the political positions in Uganda today actually require a certain level of education. There are political positions you cannot hold in Uganda unless you have a degree.
Let us closely look at this Wacha Olwol goof, and a Goof so he is for the country invested a whole lot into it, it paid its education, the country handed it its coffee and it handed it its cotton, to go to school and build a future of our country. Wacha Olwol has died at age 93 without building a single firkin dispensary in the country. And do you know what really pisses me off? This Wacha goof has died in Corner Amach of lira district, the entire Lira district let alone entire Northern Uganda does not have a single sewage system working let alone installed, but the goof has left a litter of 12, where are they going to shit? Yes you got it on the very jungles of Lira.

Mzee Joel Hunter Wacha-Olwol, a former member of the Presidential Commission of Uganda, is dead.
According to Betty Amongi, Minister for Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Wacha-Olwol died at Kadic Hospital in Kampala. By time of filling this news his body was being transferred to Mulago Hospital for autopsy. He was 93.
Wacha-Olwol was a member and head of the three-man Presidential Commission that governed the affairs of the state of Uganda between May 22 and December 15, 1980. This was after the Military Commission headed by Paulo Muwanga and deputised by Yoweri Museveni overthrew the government of President Godfrey Binaisa.
The other members of the presidential commission were Justices Saulo Musoke and Polycarp Nyamuchoncho. It is this commission that handed over power to President Milton Obote after the controversial December 12, 1980 general elections.
Wacha-Olwol started out his career as a teacher at a rehabilitation centre in Lira, before joining the then Lango African Local Government at the beginning of 1953 as a clerk to the Lango District council. After his studies in the United Kingdom from where he graduated with a Diploma in Social and Public Administration, he was appointed the district council secretary.
He was later elected on the delegation from Lango that attended the two constitution conferences in London that paved the way for Uganda's Independence in 1962.
Wacha-Olwol was moved from Lango to Kitgum in August 1963 as an assistant district commissioner for Kitgum before replacing the late Oboth Ofumbi as district commissioner for Acholi. Ofumbi had been transferred to Entebbe as secretary to the cabinet from where he would become a cabinet minister during the Amin government. Ofumbi was together with another minister Lt. Col Erinayo Oryema and Archbishop Janani Luwum killed in February 1977.
In 1966 Wacha-Olwol was promoted to the post of principal assistant secretary in the Ministry of Local Government, working as local administration inspector. After a year he joined the Office of the President at Entebbe as an administrator. In 1968, he was promoted to secretary for administration in the President's Office, a position he held until 1972 when he was retired by the Amin government.
After retirement, Wacha-Olwol went into private business in Lira Town until 1977 when he ran into exile following the death of Archbishop Luwum and the two cabinet ministers. It was widely believed that he would be one of the next targets of the Amin government that was increasingly becoming paranoid of people suspected to be supporters of Milton Obote, the man Amin had toppled in 1971.
Wacha-Olwol stayed in exile in Kenya until after the fall of Amin in April 1979. He is said to have recruited some Ugandans in Kenya to go and join the liberation war in Tanzania.
It was in May 1980 that Wacha-Olwol was appointed to join the two justices Polycarp Nyamuchocho and Saulo Musoke as members of the presidential commission, the titular head of state that handed over power to Obote in December 1980. Together with the two, Wacha-Olwol ruled Uganda for eight months.
The commission oversaw the day-to-day running of the government ministries and signed legal documents as co-presidents.
After the 1980 elections, the new UPC government brought back Wacha-Olwol into civil service, working as chairman Uganda Advisory Board of Trade until the board was dissolved in 1986.
Born in November 1923 to Erieza Olwol and Cakaya Akulo in Loro Sub-county, Atura County now in Oyam district, Wacha-Olwol later relocated to Corner Amach in Lira district.
He went to Loro Preparatory School from where he joined Loro Elementary School between 1932 and 1935. He later joined Boroboro Central School from 1936 to 1938. Boroboro was the only academic centre in the whole of Lango District, with only two classes.
Wacha-Olwol then joined Kabalega Junior, now secondary school, from where he was admitted at Kings College Budo in 1942 for his Senior Four and six until 1944.
At Budo, Wacha-Olwol was a classmate of Kabaka Edward Muteesa of Buganda, who also became ceremonial president of Uganda between 1963 and 1966. During their time at Budo, Yusuf Kironde Lule, who would also become president of Uganda, was one of their teachers.
From Budo, Wacha-Olwol went to Mukono Teacher Training College from 1945 where he graduated as a primary school teacher and later did a diploma in Social and Public Administration in the United Kingdom.
He is survived by 12 children.
