Just fall asleep - in my life time this second time Uganda is starving
on mass scale!
Just recently - there has been severe dry spell. Cows, crops in Kiwoko
and elsewhere are still dying. Our reaction is what is on ground, not
what is in people's heads or merry making. I do not feel an engineer
will waste time coming to help poor Africans unless he is companionate
at heart (Uganda at heart - ?!!)
Over the years the temperatures have risen by more than 2 degrees
centigrade (Central region and Western Uganda severely affected) in
some part of Uganda. Implying that even if it rains today and the
next day it is sunshine - many parts of Uganda will back to square one
in just two weeks.
Do you get it? Uganda has no water and it is urgent to meet the need-
you can as well go on and sleep but Teso and Isingiro are starving.
