Makerere Student Poisoned by Boyfriend Dies in Exam

A post-mortem report from Mulago National Referral Hospital shows that the female Makerere University student who collapsed and died during examinations succumbed to suspected poisoning.
Joanita Nakalembe, a first year student of Education collapsed causing panic among fellow students. By the time she was rushed to hospital, she was vomiting blood.
The news of poisoning was revealed by one of her relatives, Daphine Baguma. "Doctors gave us a report which indicates that she died of poisoning but we don't know where or who administered it," she said.

Friends suspect that she may have been poisoned by her boyfriend or another female jealous of their relationship.
