Why this is important

Pres. Maza Martelli, the UN Human Rights Council must not ignore the torture and murder of Ugandan Dissidents!

The Ugandan Government officially endorses torture as a way of extracting information from suspects and the murder of any who oppose them. We call on you to personally use your position to intervene on behalf of the Ugandan People.

We call on the UN and UNHRC to take charge to investigate and prosecute these Ugandan authorities involved in torturing and murdering Ugandan citizens:

President Yoweri Museveni, all crimes take place on his orders and he has advanced the careers of those who commit them.
Brigadier Peter Elwelu, Commander of the UPDF 2nd Division.
Kale Kayihura, Inspector General of the Police
Henry Mugumya, Special Investigations Division (SID)
Ronnie Byenkya, a Special Police Constable
Herbert Muhangi, assistant commissioner of police
Francis Olugu, assistant commissioner of police.

We call on the UN and UNHRC to act on behalf of the well being of prisoners held in unknown locations across the country detained during Kasese Government killings and to seek the release of the innocent.

We call on the UN and UNHRC to close all torture centers at Nalufenya Police Detention, Luzira Prisons Torture cells, Mbuya Army Barracks and CMI, Kigo Prisons, Kisugu and Kireka.

Through election fraud the Museveni dictatorship has extended its life another five years. the Ugandan people deserve free and open elections and to build a better nation without fear of government sponsored violence the UNHRC must act now!
