Expenditure Framework:
A total budget approved by Parliament for financial year 2017/18 has been allocated as follows:-.
Shs. 3.577 trillion has been allocated for Salaries and Wages;
Shs 8.325 trillion for Non-Wage Expenditure.
Shs 11.349 trillion has been allocated for Development expenditure of which Shs 4.273 trillion is funded by Government and Shs 7.075 trillion from External financing.
Domestic Debt refinancing amounts to Shs 4.99trillion and Appropriation in Aid amounts to Shs 757 billion.
