-- jeremy Corbyn speaking in Blyth, makes his strongest attack yet on Theresa May, blaming her for all the atrocities Islamic terrorists are committing against the British people by her policy of brutal budget cuts which has reduced police numbers and reduced their capacity to fight terrorism. He claims Theresa May has tied the hands of the police behind their backs, yet wants them to go after dangerous and highly organised murderers. I have never seen Corbyn so angry.
Corbyn is a transformed man. He is not the same man of even a few years ago. Who would thought they would ever see this Corbyn? he is pullin crowd after crowd- all across the country. In some places he is almost like a rock star. Compare this to Mrs May, whose campaign strategy seems now to be one of avoiding a serious gaffe, hence her refusal to participate in debates or even to attend rallies. She only appears in selected TV appearances where the audience is carefully vetted or chosen by her office.
