Another picture of my son  George Okello jr at yesterdays Vlogstar Challenge Competition  organised by Media Trust UK and Utube, and Sponsored by the London Evening Standard Newspaper. The full coverage will appear in the newspaper next week,

The Mayor of the London borough of Southwark said in his speech that George made Southwark proud and is a shining example to all the black boys of this deprived borough of London. I told him George is the pride of Uganda, and of of all of Africa. He is the face of the new African boy. He is a living example of how great suffering and the injustice of being expelled from one's own homeland can never be a barrier to  success. Determination, focus and commitment  are the factors all young people need to harness and apply in order to achieve their ambitions of being the best  they can be and  want to be.
