50 Years Ago This Week, The Nigerian Civil War Erupted, Puncturing Forever The Pre--Colonial Dream That Africa Would Rise From The Ashes And Cease To Be A Dark Continent.The Brutality Of This War, In Which An Estimated 1 Million People Died, Has Continued To Be Repeated Across Africa, Culminating In The Worst Excesses So far In Which Rwandan Outlaw Kayibanda Museveni Organised, Orchestrated, Commissioned Or Ordered The Genocide Of An Estimated 14 Million People In The Great Lakes Region, Including At least One Million In Uganda Over Various Phases Of Grotesque Blood-Letting Since The 1980s.
