My background:
My name is Egwar Charles, am 48 years old. I am senior clinical officer in charge of Olilim health center iii Otuke District. I qualified from Gulu School of clinical officer in 1994 and awarded Diploma in clinical medicine and community Health.
In 2008 I got another Diploma in clinical ophthalmology from Jinja School of ophthalmic clinical officer. My working experience is now seventeen years. I like carrying out researches on medical conditions which I always attend to.
My best and greatest life story of successes came from my real daughter called Aburry prossy. She is five (5) years old. This child was discovered to be having SCD when she was only four (4) months, but she has been suffering seriously with this condition and always develop swelling of the feet and hands , crying throughout the night especially when there is coldness, reduce hemoglobin level to less than 5 g/dl.
The serious attack she developed was in October 2013 when she got sickle cell stoke and the whole of her right side of the body became paralyzed. At this time she was 3 years and five months old. I took her to Lira regional referral hospital where she was admitted and put on nasogastric tube for three months and her Hb was 4g/dl. The Doctor advised the nurses that her Hb level should not fall below 10 g/dl as this will cause another stroke.
While she was in the Hospital, her Hb level kept dropping to less than5g/dl every one to two weeks. The young girl was being transfused two to three times in a month.
After she was discharged, I was now told to be taking her for physiotherapy weekly and to monitor her condition.
In January 2014, I started my research on her using specific fruits and vegetables available in our area and I was combining two types of vegetables together with two types of fruit juice for a period of 5-7 days while I monitor Hb level.
The five months test I did was not successful but I was lucky to discover the two types of fruits and vegetables which can stimulate the red bone marrow of a sicker to manufacture Red blood cell within six hours and the Hb level comes to normal even when Hb is less than 5g/dl without blood transfusion.
Since September 2014 up to date my child who was being transfused after every two weeks, has never been transfused. While using the locally applied technology.

The achievement of the research:
 Reduced Hb level less than 5g/dl can be resumed within 6 hours without blood transfusion.
 No risk of acquiring infection through un-properly screened blood transfusion.
 No more frequent going to hospital for more complicated investigations as it would require.
 Reduces mobility and mortality among under 5 years and adults suffering from sickle cell diseases anemia.
 The Ugandan government and the whole world will not now spent a lot of money on management of sickle cell Aneamia.

Action plan.
1. Inform the whole world on the scientific discovery.
2. Construct a world research center of SCD aneamia in my District of Alebtong, northern Uganda – East Africa.
3. Identify 100 children of under 10 years with sickle cell disease for experimental Epidemiology and they will be followed for a period of 5- 10 years.
