{UAH} Soukous (African Dane)
Mike Ocaya s/o Ocure,
-- Here is a sample of Sokous (African Dance) music as well as dance. As you can see, it is a far cry from Rumba that you used to dance to in the 1940s and 1950s. Sokous still retains elements of rhumbha but has improvised African dance with ryhthm and tempo, which adds vibrancy to it and makes it wonderful music- for listening to, as as as for dsplaying your moves. I am sure those old bones need shaking- throw away the tablets and pills and just loose yourself in Sokous- there is no better therapy- ask your mukiga muko Alan Barigye, your luo-mate Gook, or Okeyi Gwokto..
