{UAH} Three arrested in Uganda over Msando murder

Chifu Wa Malindi

As you head into this election, man it is good I am about to retire, there is simply too much crap for me to take on at this age, for I wonder, is Democracy in Uganda for making this arrest? Is United States more a democratic society by simply declaring that Seth Conrad Rich's killers are just unknown? Or UK is a more Democratic country by declaring that Doctor David Kelly lived his life normal, but the day he raised a red flag on the war in Iraq, he simply lost the marbles and committed suicide? Did The UK government hire a man that should have been all along on suicide watch? I just ponder. And if yes how many more have they hired?

As I try and so hard to find a fit in this very complex society, what country can I live in to feed on the "Democratic"  principles sir? Is it Uganda, United States or UK?

Police in Uganda say they have impounded a vehicle and arrested a Kenyan and two Ugandans in connection with the murder of electoral commission ICT manager Chris Msando.

The vehicle, a Toyota Fortuner, had Ugandan registration number plates but police say it had Kenyan plates when it crossed the border at Busia.

It was said to have been headed to South Sudan when it was intercepted in Northern Uganda.

FLYING SQUAD

Aswa River Region Police Spokesperson Mr Jimmy Patrick Okema confirmed to Daily Monitorconfirmed that the arrests are related to Mr Msando's death.

He said Uganda Flying Squad trailed the vehicle after they were tipped about the suspects, who had crossed into Uganda on Monday.

"It's believed that the vehicle could be for killers, but I still don't have all the details, may be Interpol will give all the details. However this is the little information I have, the arrest is related to Msando's death," Mr Okema said.

KENYAN POLITICIAN

He added: "The suspects and the intercepted vehicle have been taken to the Police Headquarters in Kampala for further investigation."

A search of the Kenyan registration number showed the plates belongs to a Mercedes Benz registered in the name of a Kenyan politician.

The electoral agency's ICT manager was killed alongside a 21-year-old woman, Ms Carol Ngumbu.

Their bodies were found last Saturday a few metres from each other at Muguga Forest in Kikuyu.

A post-mortem has revealed that they were strangled, possibly using a rope.
