On this sad day in Mukura, Museveni's NRA slaughtered innocent, unarmed Ugandans - burnt in a railway wagon. Kagame, Besigye, Muntu, Akandwanaho, Kashillingi, Tinyefunza, Mbabazi and that whole lot ALL possibly danced. A single death has to be certified and, if murder or manslaughter it has penalties; a slaughter, a massacre - effectively a war crime or was it even genocide (an identity targeted) - must have consequences. While we have to move forward, as a nation, there must be real truth and tangible justice to enable genuine healing and reconciliation that ensures no impunity or repeats. But it can't be on the terms of the perpetuators, nor can it be based on selective history by 'saintly' Sauls and their cadre story tellers. And worse, when humility seems to be an endangered element in their daily conduct....
