Last Sunday February the 4^th, I got a phone call from Yaoundé Cameroon, when a relative of John Fisher Zimbe aka Mitayo De-Potosi, or Sseruganda as we used to call each other,  informed me that Mwami Augustine Kayondo the elder of Zzimbe had authorized me to burry Sseruganda in this city. I immediately started to make the preparation of the sendoff of my friend, A couple of issues have been resolved, thus I can post the details today. I have appointed S. Emijjo to be the overall coordinator of the Sseruganda's funeral, if you have any question, a concern, a contribution, reach him at emijjoo@gmail.com or 647 212 2002. We have also decided that Sseruganda is going to get a full state funeral in the city of Toronto, on Tuesday February the 20^th 2024. 

Because this is going to be a state funeral, we are not going to have a visitation we are only going to get a salutation from 9am to 10am. The State Funeral is starting at 10am to 11am.at Kane – Jarett Funeral Homes at 6191 Yonge street in North York, then the interment soon after at Aurora cemetery at 14253 Yonge street, Aurora Ontario. Please note this is going to be a fully state funeral thus a couple of things are going to be different, for example he is going to lay in repose in a fully open casket.  The function at the funeral home is going to be webcast and as soon as we get the website set up, we are going to post it on the website. Let us all come up and respect a soldier that has fallen at battle.
