[UAH] THANK YOU EVERYONE AS WE PREPARE A UAH BOOK. ANY IDEAS???

Friends,

Hope you are all OK.  It seems we have come an awful long way but it looks like we have almost finished digesting and analysing all the problems that have faced Uganda before and after independence. We are not miracle workers but I really don't see anything left out in our debates. We have come a long way together as Ugandans to address hatred amongst us; tribalism; poor governance, and other issues that happened or are happening in our country. At the moment, It is no longer popular to say on UAH, `I'm an Iteso , and I want to live only in an Iteso neighborhood'.

We have debated the history of Uganda better than any teacher or lecturer at any institution. Multicultural history is like Affirmative Action. We have no control over what our forefathers took part in. So, its better we use this knowledge to take our country to new levels.

Together, we have made history by creating the best Ugandan forum online. We are proof that the blessings of liberty would be within reach of every Ugandan if we all put our mind to it.

My job now is to mainly make time to edit and save almost everything we have discussed here in some way or the other. This is gonna take a lot of time but I will do it as long as I'm still physically and mentally OK, and free from any disturbances. After saving most of our work on online, we will probably come up with a book in future that will include almost everyone's important contributions on UAH.

On this note, i would like to thank all our forumists that have been with us for years especially: W.B.Kyijomanyi, Simon Okurut, Mulindwa Edward, Paul Ssemalulu, Otto Patrick, Obargot, Robert Nviri, Desmond Nzana, Jeniffer Biri, Nyar, Rashid Capiteni, Edward Pojim, John Nsubuga, Ahmed Katerega, Heny Ford Mirima, Kiluts, Ekissode Ekissodde, Musisi Bosco, Gen.Salim Saleh, Kale Kayihura, Peter Gwokto, and so many others. The list is so long but hopefully I get time and enough money to come up with a book that will have all those characters in it.

You will be seeing less of me here on the forum unless there is some problem somewhere or if any of you is breaking our forum rules............. but I will be following almost everything inishallah.............. and no, im not retiring yet!

As for those in government, economic and political Community process and structure issues will have to be addressed. A strong and well-integrated program, tailored to the community needs and commercial realities of today's world, is critical to the long-term interests of our nation. Please listen to the views of people here and back home. Dont just do stuff that pops in your head.

For those that left the forum because of some misunderstandings amongst each other, please come back. We've certainly seen some stupid misunderstandings proudly flaunted in this forum but i'm asking people not to take this personal. My own view is that we should just forget about all this, forgive each other and come back together to move this forum to another level. So, I'm really looking forward to seeing guys like: Otto Patrick, Obargot, Ekissodde, Musisi Bosco.................. all back here on UAH soon or at the time of their convenience. If i'm being honest to my feelings, i don't have any personal problems with any of the people that have been part of this forum.

With that I wish everyone a good start to the week. As a Chelsea FC fan, all i can say is that I've had a fantastic day- with a trophy at the end of the season and a 3rd place in the premiership.

Thank you

Abbey
