[UAH] 19th Coronation Anniverssay EMPANGO Invitation

The Omukama of Bunyoro-Kitara kingdom will mark His 19th Coronation Empango Anniverssary on Tuesday the 11th of June 2013. Empango is an open public ceremony which will be attended by people from all over the World that are stakeholders in Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom.

 

You do not need an invitation card to witness the sounding of Empango (Royal Drums) which is always attended by peoplefrom all over the World. People that trace their ancestry to Bunyoro-Kitara come from Eastern Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Northern Tanzania and Southern Sudan.

 

Uganda stakeholders come from Acholi, Lango, Madi, Karamoja, Bugishu, Tooro, Buganda, Kooki, Nkorre, Buhweju, Rukiga, Mporororo, Bukonjo, Bwamba, Butuku, Buruuli, Bunyala, Busoga, Teso, Palisa, Tororo and numerous  other places not name here for lack of space. 

 

Whoever comes this year will be well received by His Majesty Omukama Solomon Gafabusa Iguru the 1st. The theme for this year's celebrations is: "Tapping Bunyoro's Economic and Cultural Potential".  Bunyoro-Kitara has cause to celebrate having discovered oil and gas in this kingdom.
