Begin forwarded message:

It all started at the UNAA Denver Convention in 2011, when by then the Immediate Past President Eng. Moses Wilson invited Capt. Lukiya Mulumba to accept her award as one of UNAA's honorees for her hard work in creating awareness and as a Human Rights Activist for those that suffer from Sickle Cell Anemia and Disease.

Capt. Lukia Mulumba shared her personal struggle as a mother to a Daughter that finally was cured of the disease and also made us aware in the audience that day the Sickle Cell was not a death sentence and there was hope for those that suffer from the disease and they indeed could live normal lives with all the right assistance. Sickle cell was out of the closet! Capt. Mulumba has expressed her gratitude to UNAA for that opportunity because in the audience that day was UNAA Member and renowned Hotelier and Real Estate Ugandan Billionaire Hajji Bulaimu Muwanga Kibirige who offered her his assistance by donating his services and offering  his Hotel, Africana to her for all her meetings and gatherings as she fights for the cause. Join Capt Lukia Mulumba this July 11th 2013 in Kampala as she takes her message back home to educate our people back home and please give your support in any way you can.
