[UAH] FW: In Memory of The Late Patrick Iga Musisi
A challenging and lasting legacy he left us with. Forever, the late Patrick Iga Musisi, will be remembered. Wherever he went, in all the States and cities that he lived in, He always represented himself well. first and foremost, as a devouted loving husband and as a loving Father to his children and all the people he associated with. Regardless of their race or background. He was always ready and willing to serve and engage in local community activities. Between 1999- 2000, He stood out as a strong pillar in the planning arrangements of the visit of HRM Kabaka Mutebi to Dallas. Similary, during the Dallas Fortworth, community farewell dinner, which was organized in honor of our former Dallas resident, who was soon to be and still is the Nnabagereka of Buganda, Sylvia Nnaginda Luswata. The late Patrick together with his family played a major role in the planning process. Who can forget the inspiration and support he gave his dear wife, Beatrice, who made history during Sylvia Nnaginda's wedding to Kabaka Mutebi, when she designed and made the stunning Busuuti into a unique wedding gown!? The late Iga Musisi, did not cease from serving his communities even when he moved to Seattle,WA. Shortly after his arrival, he joined hands with the local UNAA community leaders, who right away, identified the leadership quality in him. It was of little wonder that in 2003 the late Patrick Iga Musisi, embarked on and presided over the Local organizing committee of which hosted the UNAA 2004 convention in Seattle, WA. which is also ranked among the best in UNAA conventions history. The late Patrick, did not stop at that. In 2005 During the UNAA Minnesota convention, he offered himself as candidate for UNAA Board member, in a highly contested UNAA election year in the history of UNAA. Without any surprises, the late Patrick, emerged as one of the best candidates that set a path to UNAA's progress and transfirmation under the able leadership of Omulangira Abdul K. Kimbugwe, Moses Nekyon as VP, Nnalongo Brenda Kalema as Treasurer and Francis Ssennoga as Executive Secretary. The late Iga Musisi, was also known for among many other things, as a hard worker. Indeed, it was not by coincidence that he passed away while on his way to his homeland to do some of the things he loved doing the most, and always did with great passion. Serving, working and giving a helping hand to those who needed it, whenever he could. May the Soul of Patrick Edward Katumba Iga Musisi, rest in eternal peace. Joseph. W. Kamugisha Rev. Joseph W.
