For alumni of the Open University. I am really excited about the Africa Project and the invitation from my old University to join the mentoring scheme as a mentee, helping current students achieve their goals at the University. And also to travel to Paris to meet up with other alumni.
I encourage people here to take up courses at the University, they are not very expensive, you don't have to attend lectures or sit in a lecture room. You study completely on your own, with help from an on-line tutor. And you can study from anywhere in the world.

This initiative is to develop a programme to meet the capacity building needs of management development in Africa. It can help to develop African managers run African companies and companies in Africa. Francis (francis.cattermole@open.ac.uk) would be delighted to hear from anyone with connections to companies in Africa who would like to explore with us how best to develop their African managers.
