[UAH] Invitation to a public seminar THIS Sat 22nd June from 2-6.30 pm
Title: Uganda - The current state of affairs following Donors Aid cuts and other topical issues.
Dear country men and women,
ACOF is pleased to invite you to attend a seminar organised to discuss the potential impact of the suspension of Donors aid to Uganda government following the massive corruption scandal at the Office of the Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi.
Our special guest speaker for this event will be Hon. Beatrice Atim Anywar MP (also known as Mama Mabira) the Member of Parliament representing Kitgum District will present a situational report on Nodding Syndrome and provide updates on new developments and future plans on how to best tackle the debilitating and strange disease. Her presentation will also touch on the challenges facing Uganda in terms of governance, corruption and the impact of aid cuts as well as other topical issues.
