[UAH] Mr. Kaguta & Mps- Wat is it between u and Indians/chinese? Iron ore

Mr. Kaguta and MPS I strongly disagree with you on giving our iron ore to be mined by indian and chinese companies without the participation of peasants.

 

I just read that u gave a 49 year lease to an indian company i.e. for mining iron ore in Kanungu.

 

Why 49 years? why not 25 years. which bank will finance a fifty year loan except world bank and the like?

 

What portion of the mining will go to local peasants? why weren't paesants given equity?

 

Why did you not talk to Zimbabwe black investors or South African Black investors to operate the mine with locals from the west e.g Banyakore kweterana

 

On this one Kaguta I totaly disagree.  The peasants must have a share in the mining activities and profits  i.e. from taking out the ore, making steel and selling the steel etc etc.

 

I am disgusted by the deals Ug Govt is signing without putting the indegenous people first.

 

I am tempted to go to  court on behalf of the peasants in Kanungu.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Can some lawyer help please!!!!!!!!!!!

 

MPs please review these iron ore deals.
