Toronto police are investigating a triple homicide in Etobicoke.

Just after 7 o clock Monday night, emergency officials responded to a call at 65 Old Burnhamthorpe Road in the west end.

There, police located three bodies. It's unclear how long they had been there, and reports suggest they all died from injuries consistent with blunt force trauma. Police confirmed the victims are two women and one man, but their identities are not being released.

A short time later police say they located a suspect near a ravine in the area, armed with a knife. After a brief stand-off, the suspect surrendered to police without incident.

Police confirmed early Tuesday morning that the male suspect in his 20's, was charged with three counts of second-degree murder.

Police continue to canvas for witnesses, and to see if any other suspects may have been involved.

A man in his 20's was rushed to hospital early Tuesday morning after being shot in the neck.

Police were called to 155 Sherbourne Street just before midnight. It's just north of Queen Street and next to Moss Park.

Police say he was conscious and breathing when taken to St. Michael's Hospital and while his injuries are serious, they are not life-threatening.

The search continues for a suspect described as a black man, about 5 foot 9 to 5 foot 10. He was wearing a black hooded sweater and jeans.
