We are happy to let you know that MakCHS, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is among the finalists for grand challenges 2013 awards with the project titled: From reactive to proactive: reorganising the labour ward to save lives.

 

To move beyond this stage and win the grant, the Department needs your vote. It's your vote that will determine the ultimate outcome of this noble, innovative and courageous application.

 

Here is how to vote:

1. Access information about the project application at the following link:  http://savinglivesatbirth.net/innovation/2013/innovators/all

 

2. After opening the link, open and account and get a password (there are instructions on how to do this),

3. You will then be presented with a list of projects. The projects are listed in alphabetical order. Go to M and click on Makerere University (the project title is indicated as above)

4. Vote by clicking on the star symbol located on the right hand side of the page

 

Please vote for your university and encourage others to vote too.
