{UAH} NOW DEFUNCT ECONOMIST HEADLINE IN 1980....

"Bad news, Akena is back!" This is what Roland Kakooza Mutale (Senior Presidential Advisor, Special Duties) wrote of Akena Adoko when the latter returned from exile in Tanzania in 1980. Akena Adoko was Obote's first cousin and right hand man who presided over one of the deadliest security agencies, the General Service Unit (GSU) in the 1960s. So it was bad news to Kakooza Mutale that Adoko was back. Mutale was editor of the then infamous Economist, a weekly print outlet.


Does anyone know what prompted this kind of reaction from Kakooza??
