[UAH] UGANDA WILL FACE A GENERATIONAL SHIFT
U.S. Embassy Kampala
U.S. Ambassador to Uganda Scott H. DeLisi, "As a partner for the
future we know as well that Uganda will face a tremendous generational
shift in the coming years that will inevitably change the nation.
These youth, however, are not a problem to be solved, as some seem to
think, but an asset to be tapped. Today's youth will emerge as the
future leaders in business, government, and civil society. They will
bring innovation, energy and change, but will also need support,
mentoring, and committed partners to tackle the challenges of their
generation. We stand ready to work with them."
