'International Tourism Exchange ITB Berlin 1977 took place from March 5-13, 1977 in ten halls on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds on an overall exhibition afra o 33.000 sq. m. This event was attended by 579 directly represented exhibitors and 74 firms and organisation from 30 countries. Visitors in conversation with staff of Uganda's stand at the 11th ITB Berlin 1977.'

'The Chess game is steadily gaining popularity in Uganda and great enthusiasm is building up in the various clubs. Here D.B. Sekitende and D.M.K. Nsubuga of Ex telecoms Chess Club are seen in action during their 8-game internal tournament which lasted two weeks and ended in a draw.'
