When I joined Makerere University, I did not have a lot of time, so I decided to learn how to play table tennis instead. We were lucky enough to have a trainer from China then, and I went ahead to represent Uganda in countries like China, Russia, and Ghana. When I went to Nairobi, table tennis was not energetic enough for me and instead, I got into squash, and excelled at it.
Working out
I used to work out very often, about six times a week. I loved aerobics, squash and tennis, but I had to stop doing these exercises when I hurt my back during aerobics. Now, I walk and swim when I find time because my work schedule cannot allow me to do many of the exercises I would like to do. I also walk a lot when I am at airports because I travel a lot for my work.
Eating right
The older you get, the less you eat, because you do not really need a lot of energy. My only problem is that I have a sweet tooth. I love my sweets and ice cream so it is a constant fight for me to keep away from these foods.
Staying stress-free
I am generally a happy person. I do not worry about things. I make sure I have enough rest and sleep every day. This means that I go to bed early and wake up late. Also, spending time with my grandchildren keeps me busy and happy.
