{UAH} Tamgho receives a heroic welcome in Paris!

Cameroonian-born athlete, Teddy Tamgho, who did wonders at the recently

closed Moscow World Athletics Championships where he won France's only gold

medal when he cleared a fantastic 18 m 04 in the triple jump, has been received as

a hero on his arrival at Charles de Gaulle International Airport and in Paris itself!

Hiundreds of admirers, relatives, businessmen, and pressmen jostled against him in the 

dense see of heads that had turned up to cheer their hero!

From the airport he was driven to the city where dozens and dozens of businesses had

already solicited his visit to their premises in order to start doing real business, notably in 

form of advertising their marks and trade! 

And this is likely to be the general trend in favour of the young sportsman throughout France!

His popularity will fetch him glory and other great things!

Tamgho will of course not forget athletics. At 24 he's set to many important things in a future which 

is wholy ahead of him. He will definitely beat the world record ( 18 m 29 ), a figure which he really largely

passed only to have his jump invalidated for having overstepped the takeoff mark by a centimetre!

Feted in France, young Tamgho has also moved the entire Cameroon where he is seen as a national pride!

In Paris he will have to be officially received by the mayor of his municipality and will also be welcome by

hundreds of sportsmen/women and well-wishers from his locality.

Of course, very many happy events are in store for him especially the day he will beat the world record that has

stood untouched for 17 years now! Anyway, Tamgho will surpass it very soon!
