Assalamu alaikum brothers and sisters,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those that have fasted the month of Ramandhan and those that have donated something to the poor or underprivileged during this month. We all know that Ramandhan is coming to an end very soon and we hope Allah gives us the best rewards He could give a fasting person inishallah.

I would also like to thank particularly one of our members, Imam Kasozi, for the job he and his team, under Uganda Muslim Youth Assembly, have done during Ramandhan, as shown in the attached pictures, in various parts of the country, especially in areas of Budibugyo, Kaberamaido, Obongi Adyegi, Amolatar Kikuuta nfuufu etc.

I have been particularly touched by the state of one of the mosques in Amolatar district. Please, if there are people here or you know who may be willing to do something about it, please do contact Imam Kasozi for any contributions inishallah. His email address is: kasozii@yahoo.co.uk. He could always be found at Mawanda Masjid , Munyonyo, if anybody wishes to see him physically inishallah. I'm pretty sure he won't mind sacrificing his time to help us sort this out if funds are available inishallah.

That said, I'm really hoping that all Muslim organisations will continue, as they have been doing, openly updating us on their activities in Uganda inishallah because this is very important. We must demand open communications to bring back values we all would agree to through polite debate. Let us not lose focus of the fact that constant communication amongst all Muslim parties in our country will breed something bigger than all of us in the long term. This is not about you or anyone else…………it is about the goodness of Islam and Muslims in Uganda. So, it's every important that we keep communicating to everybody including those we consider a bit unfriendly.

Nze bwendaba banange, and I wish everyone a nice Iddil Fitri. Please put me in your prayers as I'm not feeling well at the moment, but I will be OK inishallah.
