I am the CEO of an Asset Management Company in Uganda. I have lived in 5 different African countries; and travelled to a lot more on business and on holiday. I have worked in the UK, US and continental Europe; and travelled to many countries around the world. I am highly qualified and I am regarded as a top professional in my field in the East Africa region. I would say that your comments lack any insight or knowledge regarding Africa. You need to come here and see for yourself the drastic changes that are happening on this continent before you make any off-the-cuff judgements. I am sorry to say that it is not Berman who knows nothing about Africa - it is you who knows nothing my friend! The things you are talking about are in the past! It is like referring to Idi Amin whose era was in the 70s. This is 2013 - more than 3 decades later!. Take some time out to come and witness the transformation of this beautiful continent. Africa is the next big thing... Watch this space!
