Al Shabaab claims 137 hostages dead in Nairobi mall attack

The Somali al Qaeda-affiliate Al Shabaab now claims its gunmen killed 137 hostages during their attack on the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi. They also report the Kenyan army launched a gas weapon attack on the building Tuesday, and then triggered an explosion which caused part of the roof to collapse. Wednesday, Day 5 of the shopping mall siege, an explosion was heard from inside the building although President Uhuru Kenyatta reported Tuesday that the terrorists were "shamed and defeated."
