{UAH} Congratulations to UNAA, Ttabamiruka and UNAA, Inc
On behalf of UDU, I wish to congratulate UNAA for a successful four-hour teleconference during which a report of activities undertaken to date was presented and agreed on concrete program for the next year.
Congratulations also go to the organizers of Ttabamiruka'13 and participants for the well organized conference that took place in New Jersey, USA and for very interactive and substantive discussions on issues of topical significance.
Not least, I congratulate UNAA, Inc for the conference which took place in Texas, USA and for successful elections of a new team of leaders.
Regardless of the group we belong to, we Ugandans face the same general challenges that call for a common purpose and concerted action if we are to succeed in laying a solid platform for economic growth and equity, rule of law and respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms for all Ugandans that underpin sustained economic development for present and future generations.
I wish you a safe journey as you head back home. The end of the conferences marks the beginning of implementing the decisions you have taken. Hopefully, joint programs can be worked out and implemented together. We call on the leaders of the three groups to give this matter the serious attention it deserves.
Eric Kashambuzi
Secretary General, UDU
