{UAH} Kenyan Parliament votes to pull out of ICC
Folks;
The vote by the majority, Jubilee-affiliated MPs, will have no bearings on the cases facing President Uhuru Kenyatta, his deputy, William Ruto and radio journalist Sang.
Even if Kenya writes to the UN tomorrow, to announce its withdrawal from ICC, that withdrawal will still take effect a year later. Moreover, any pending cases from Kenya will continue to trial phase without a hindrance.
The politics of psychophancy that informs this vote will only draw unnecesary attention to Kenyans' alleged culpability in the PEV for which they are now under trial at the Hague.
At times, we are our worst enemies: shooting ourselves in the foot.
