{UAH} RESPONSE to GABURUNGYI: Congratulations

Tim,
I'd intended my congratulatory msg to be my last email on UNAA matters for a while (but definitely my last msg on unaalist) but I guess I owe you a response...my last msg on UNAA will be a response to Mr Kamugisha, Mr Kalema-Musoke and Mr Ronnie Mayanja.
I doubt that there will be a "next bid for office" on my part.  As for legal services, I will assess my participation as I see fit.
I didn't get a chance in the AGM to be picked to give my views on the matter of engaging an attorney to perform a "forensic audit"...so here is my last unsolicited advice:  I don't think UNAA should hire a lawyer at this point. In my view, we should report to the police and let them take care of the "forensic audit" since they will not charge UNAA a single cent. UNAA can then use that police report to determine the way forward. That is better than paying an attorney $400 per hour to do something that the police does for free.
thanks

Hi Joseph,

Thank you so much for actively participating in UNAA's electoral process. Until your next bid for office, my sincere hope is that you will make yourself available to UNAA specifically as far as legal services are concerned. I sincerely believe you can still make a huge difference immediately and every day.

Cheers

Tim

I congratulate all the winners and I wish you the best. I look forward to going back to my normal relaxed role as a loyal back bencher.
I apologize to anyone whose toes I might have stepped on in the heat of the campaigns.
Thanks
