{UAH} ON A PERSONAL NOTE

Friends

I rarely come into the forum and post issues about my person, unless it is an over view but this one I need to post for I am glad to be alive today. Those that know me understand that I am an early person, I leave my domicile at 5.30 am but I am mainly at home by 2pm, so I rather start the day early but God I hate working passed 2pm. For some reason yesterday morning, I was called at about 3 am and told that I had to come earlier because everyone wanted to go home early now that we are on a Thanks giving long weekend. So after I posted the writing of thanks giving I started to prepare to leave and pulled out at about 5 15am. To those that know Toronto, I had to drive to Queen Elizabeth Way heading west for I work just by the airport. On reaching Royal York over pass, I was clocked at about 120 KMPH and very few cars really on the road, an Escalade passed me at a speed of about 160 KMPH. And I  remember it so well that I even braked just to know that my eye sight was right and I saw what I had just seen. Five seconds later the very same Escalade crossed two lanes and drove off the road overturning into the side encampment and simply disappeared from my face. But in the process of those 5 seconds, it knocked a stand of a highway sign and went through it, and the sign responded by crumbling across the entire road in my face. QEW is I think 5 lanes at that juncture and the sign fell all across the entire 5 lens, so we had half a second all of us to stop. A car went into it, the second car stopped an inch from the front car and my truck was number three about 2 inches from the second car. And those in Toronto that have seen the news report and know what I drive have seen my truck just saved by a second.

We were going to create a very beautiful pile up in that early morning, I just saw death smiling and calling. Reaction is a very great asset for when we all walked out of the cars, we made a very similar statement, we are alive due to his speed, every one saw him and we braked and it is that breaking that created the seconds we dearly needed for our dear lives. The car that went in was not that damaged and it was Italians going to airport after a honeymoon in Toronto. The driver of the escalade ran off after calling his girlfriend to pick him up from a certain point, and Police monitored his phone they showed up to the point before the girl friend showed up. I am glad to be alive today. When you go on a road today drive defensively for your life hangs on barely seconds. Truck knocks down overhead sign in unusual crash | CP24.com

What I saw in 15 seconds will remain with m my entire life.
