{UAH} STRANGE DEATHS STILL NEW PHENOM IN KENYA. UGANDA, NO
Woman's body found in Kwale
Chief Nasoro Kuphuma said the body was found in a bush about 50 metres from the road in the morning by passersby who informed security officials.
He said the area is isolated and it has made it easy for criminals to kill people elsewhere and dump them there. "Farm owners don't live here. We suspect the woman might have been killed elsewhere and her body dumped there to confuse investigators," Kuphuma said.
He said recently a body of a car dealer in Mombasa was found in the same place with his vehicle. Police took the body to Coast General Hospital.
Kwale OCPD Richard Mugwai said the woman's body had decomposed and could not be easily identified.
He said that locals had interfered with the scene of incident saying that they (police) cannot confirm if the body had some missing body parts until investigation and postmortem is done.
"The only thing the woman can be identified with is her lesso and the dress if her relatives can tell what she was wearing when she disappeared,' Mugwai said.
He urged residents to provide police with information to the woman's relatives as investigation into the matter commences. Area ward representative Omar Mwakwambirizwa said the issue of insecurity in the area is wanting and called on police to take action.
"Locals are now living in fear because the area has been experiencing this type of scenes every now and then we want security beefed up here. Locals should also report anything suspicious to police for suspect to be arrested,' he said.

Mugwai said that if the body is not easily physically identified they may be forced to conduct DNA test as long as she is identified by those who suspect their relative got lost.
"There was no any document to identify the deceased but we urge locals who might have lost their relative anywhere to visit coast general hospital mortuary and see if the body belong to their lost ones,' he said.
