{UAH} UJA-UPPA DEAL

l have learnt of a joint workshop by UJA and UPPA at Lubowa in Entebbe where they are advocating for a Parliamentary Forum against bad media laws. The idea is noble but any project led by our own Joshua Kyalimpa dies of credibility. l have told my veteran colleague, Siraj Lubwama to tell Kyalimpa that sooner or later we are coming with a people's coup. He has told me that they would fix elections any time from now since they have got donor money. l have warned them against de-enfranchising poor paid journalists by raising membership fee to a level of a club of media owners. That will be unacceptable. A month from now with a general assembly/ general elections, we shall rise up and relcaim our professional association.
