Beginning this week,MPs are to undergo basic training in how to use Ipads. Parliament has already outsourced IT personnel from private companies to conduct this orientation course.

So what exactly does the Institute of Parliamentary Studies(IPS) do? Why do they have to outsource? Ug Parliament is one of the most ridiculous bodies! Me thinks the training is going to cost more than the total bill for the gadgets!

What do Uganda MPs think they are going to use the Ipads for? IPad is more of a toy than an office gadget and not meant to produce, store or view documents. No amount of training would change this.Ipad doesn't need any training the same way we don't need training to use a phone.Mps would have gone for laptops!How many buttons has an ipad got? Home, Power and Volume, any dimwitted single cell neanderthal can figure out the functions of a "user friendly" tablet. Apple was kind enough to throw in a user guide!

Am sure the screens if these ipads will be full of saliva because these guys are always asleep in meetings.
