1.'Robert Rugandama Rwakojo, Mukiga, born 1942. Studying at Bishop Stuart College, Ankole. Selected to compete in the Mile, at which he is the present Uganda Champion and Native record holder.'

 

2.'Yovan Ochola, Acholi, born 1935. A driver in the Fire Brigade Department of the Uganda Police. Uganda champion and native record holder in the Shot, Discus and Hammer. East African record-holder in the Shot Pul and Hammer. Best performances; Shot, 50ft, 9insl Hammer, 164ft, 8,5 ins.'

 

3.'George William Zebikire, Mukiga, born 1931. Tailor. First represented Uganda in 1959 in the 6 miles, for which event he holds the Native record of 30 mins 32.6 secs. Selected for the Marathon in Perth.'

 

4.'Amos Omolo, Muhuhya, born 1937. A member of the Fire Brigade Department of tehe Uganda Police. First represented Uganda in the 100 Yards and 220 Yards. Current Uganda Champion at both distances. Best times of 9.5 and 21.5'

 

5.'Venancio Okwera. Born 1937. Acholi. A member of the Uganda Police and one of the hardest working members of the team. Will run in the marathon.'
