Uganda Cranes have missed their flight from Nairobi to Mombasa after they were held at Milele hotel, South C Nairobi over unpaid bills.

The Cranes face Tanzania's Kilimanjaro Stars in the semi-finals at Municipal stadium, Mombasa on Saturday at 2pm and were expected to leave Nairobi on Friday at 2pm but they couldn't make reach Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for the flight.

Uganda becomes the second team to be locked up in a hotel over unpaid bills after Burundi. The Swallows were held at their hotel on Wednesday as they prepared to leave for Nakuru to face Tanzania in their final group B game.

Coach Mulitin 'Micho' has termed the situation as sabotage intended to destabilize his side given Tanzania and Kenya have already flown to Mombasa.

"This is unbelievable", a furious Micho said. "Why us and not Tanzania or Kenya. This is meant to destabilize us but we are ready to show our credentials on the pitch"

Efforts to reach FKF president Sam Nyamweya who is part of the Local organizing committee and Cecafa General Secretary Nicholas Musonye for a comment on this were futile.

The Local Orgainsing committee and FKF are responsible to cater for accommodation of all participating teams.

Cranes will now leave Nairobi at 8.00pm.
