1.'Leslie Osman Peach, aged 32 years. Former Uganda Heavyweight champion and represented Uganda in Cardiff Commonwealth Games in 1958. Boxing Team manager and Coach, and honorary Secretary of Uganda ABA Referees and Judges Association. Born in Aldershot, Hampsire. First came to East Africa in 1947. Police Superintendent.'
 
2.'Basil John Walford, aged 52 years. First came to East Africa in 1937. Born in Basingstoke, England. Secretary of Uganda Olympic and Commonwealth Fames Committee. Represented Somerset in Cricket, Hockey and Rugby Football. Attended earliest AAA coaches course and Loughborough in 1933, 1934 and 1935 and qualified as coach and official.'
 
3.'Gadi Ado, born 1940, Lugbara. Educated at Busoga College, Mwiri, and now training to be a Dental Technician. Competed in the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome. Selected for the 440 Yards and 4x440 Yards Relay. Best time: 48 seconds.'
 
4.Ludovico Amukun, born 1939, Etesot. A member of the Uganda Police. Selected for the 3.000 metres Steeplechase, at which event he is the current Uganda Champion, Uganda Open and Native record holder. His first season as a Steeplechaser.
 
5.'Charles Eswau, born 1941, Etesot. A student at King's College, Budo. Best performance of 14.3 seconds for the 120 Yards Hurdle Runner-up in the Uganda Championships.'
 
6.'Patrick Etolu, born 1935, Etesot. Teacher. First competed in the Commonwealth Games at Vancouver in 1954, returning with a silver medal. He competed in the Melbourne Olympics in 1956 and in the Commonwealth Games at Cardiff in 1958. In that year he won the High Jump at the British A.A. Championships, with a Championship best performance of 6ft. 8 ins. Current Uganda National champion and native record holder.'
