As a reminder, UJA General Assembly will be convened at Nakivubo National Stadium, starting at 8.00 am.
Updating of the voters register, including deliting ghost voters, and registering new members, has startd today and will go on up to Thursday.
The voters register will be displayed on notice boards at UJA offices and in main newsrooms in and aorund Kampala.
The Electoral Commission that was put in place last Thursday, will continue from where it had stopped.
No more nominations for traditional offices of President, Vice President, Secretary General, Assistant Secretary General, Trreasusrer, Organising Secretary, Secretary for Labour, Secretary for Women etc...
Fresh nominations for new offices like Information Secretary, Assistant Information Secretary, Secretary for External Relations, Secretary for Human Rights and Safety of Journalists, Secretary for Production, Secretary for Employment etc..., will continue up to Thursday.
Members should be at the venue by 9.00 am and by 10.00 am voting will be in progress, insha Allah.
Security measures have been taken to ensure that there will be no more disruption.
