{UAH} GEORGE OKELLO: Tamale Mirundi backs me on lawyers

Mr. Okello, hoping you are still on the forum. Just wanted to let you
know that Mr. Tamale Mirundi, the President's Press Secretary is my
disciple in preaching the anti-lawyers gospel. That he featured on a
Kampala radio station and said lawyers should be rounded up and thrown
into the nearest holding centre. His reasons i didn't get to know but
no doubt, must be the usual.

Lawyers are the most virulent enemies of justice and lawlessness. All
they care for is win arguments by deafening hearers with bombastic
terminology while in essence skipping the bare facts in plain sight
and for this they charge an arm and a leg. So confused they confuse
the law against innocents many of whom are languishing in jail. They
have destroyed Parliament, politics, social structures. For them, the
law is a handbook for self-esteem but not service and they will do all
to invoke it selectively.

We need more political scientists (note: not politicians), social
workers, psychologists, linguists, agriculturalists, scientists,
security squads and journalists. Lawyers are a creation of criminal
cartels targeting cash on both sides of the crime world. Horrible
indeed!!

Good thing you are multi-qualified so discard the legal garb and
become an original human being.
