Police hunt suspected molester

Police in Tororo are investigating a one Angella Tonny a resident of Water Village in Tororo for sexual abuse. Tonny is reportedly on the run.

According to police Moses Okiru a resident of Water Village registered a case reference SD 08/14/11/2013 at Tororo Police station after his child complained of molestation by Tonny.

“Okiru noticed that his child was having problems with sitting down prompting him to seek for medical advice.  When the results returned, he discovered that his child had been molested prompting him to report to police,” said the CID officer.

The report didn’t go down well with the villagers who mounted a man hunt for Tonny. According to investigations, Tonny escaped in June 2013 and went into hiding in Malaba before he sneaked into neighbouring Kenya. 

The Water Village LC I chairman said three alleged victims had reported a case of molestation to his office regarding Angella’s conduct.
