{UAH} Att. Edward Mulindwa: Minnessotta
EM,
I have just checked up Minnessotta on the map, and I am surprised it borders Canada. My son is coming there to study for a year at the Minnesotta College of Art, but I did not realise it is so far away from London. I only told him, when choosing a USA University, to avoid cities like New York, Boston, Detroit, Philadelphia, Chicago etc because they are poverty sticken and crime ridden. My brother's daughter went to Chicago on a similar programme 2 years ago but came back with a very bad image of America, especially the crime and violence- she was so shocked by the gun crime levels. But I did not expect my son to choose Minessotta, may be there is less crime there, but I wonder about the cold. Let me know if Minnessotta is a safe city-otherwise I will try another university in a small city where there arent too many hopeless black people like New York and Boston. Such cities are so depressing they do not inspire young black people to be high achievers- when they see black people sleeping homeless and urinating on the streets.
