Dear Mr Okelld,

Here is our Easter weekend travel update to help you get around London from Thursday 17 to Monday 21 April. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal this weekend, but please check if any of the following affect you.
London Underground
We are undertaking a comprehensive improvement programme across London's transport network, including the modernisation of the Tube.

Bakerloo line
On Sunday, trains will not run between Willesden Junction and Harrow & Wealdstone due to Network Rail engineering work.
District line
There is no service between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway from 20:30 westbound and 21:00 eastbound on Thursday and no service from Friday to Monday. This is to enable track and points improvement work at Ealing Common. All Piccadilly line trains will stop at Turnham Green.
Jubilee line
Trains will not run from Friday to Monday between Waterloo and Finchley Road, while we carry out essential Jubilee line tunnelling work.
Piccadilly line
There is no service between Acton Town and Uxbridge from 20:30 westbound and 21:00 eastbound on Thursday and no service from Friday to Monday. This is due to track and points improvement work at Ealing Common. All trains will stop at Turnham Green.
Docklands Light Railway
Trains will not run between Bow Church and Stratford from Friday 18 April until Friday 25 April to enable the completion of Crossrail works at Pudding Mill Lane station. For more information about Crossrail, please click here
London Overground
On Sunday, there is no service between Queen's Park and Watford Junction due to Network Rail track improvement work.

Trains will not run from Friday to Monday between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction while Thameslink and Network Rail carry out track improvement work.

London Buses
From 22:00 on Saturday until 06:00 on Sunday, buses will be on diversion while Fleet Street is temporarily closed between Chancery Lane and Fetter Lane, due to a religious celebration in the area.

Roads
Road users may be affected by the following this weekend:

Central London – From 22:00 on Saturday until 06:00 on Sunday, Fleet Street will be temporarily closed between Chancery Lane and Fetter Lane, due to a religious celebration in the area.

Moorgate – From 07:00 on Saturday until 18:00 on Thursday 24 April, Moorgate (A501) will be closed southbound at the junction of South Place and London Wall. This is to allow for gas mains work on behalf of the National Grid.

Twickenham – On Saturday, from 13:00 until 18:00, Chertsey Road (A316) and all roads around, and leading to, Twickenham Stadium, are expected to be busy due to an event.

West London – From 23:00 on Saturday until 10:00 on Sunday, Westway (A40) will be closed between Wood Lane and Marylebone flyover due to road maintenance work.

South London area – On Sunday, from 08:00 until 12:00, an abnormal load will travel under police escort from the M23, via the A23 and the A205 South Circular Road to the Herne Hill area. During this time roads in the vicinity may be busy.

Barclays Cycle Hire
There are changes to the availability of the following docking stations this weekend:
  Bruton Street has limited bike capacity until December 2014
  Holborn Circus and Wansey Street are out of service
