Cape Town – A small wildcat did something very few animals or humans would do, take on a group of wild lions.

In an immense show of bravery a tine wildcat took on four lionesses as it tried to save its life at a wildlife park.

According to the Daily Mail the images of this endearing episode were captured by Claudia Hopf, a German photographer at the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in Botswana.

While being perused by the lions the tine cat fought as hard as it could to fend off the massive predators, bearing its teeth and clawing as the lions approached.

A real life David and Goliath attack, the lionesses ganged up on the cat and finally wore it down and killed the animal.
