{UAH} Restoring Financial discipline to UNAA
Hi Becky,
I sent the Hyatt contract to the council for approval and you have seen it; you can check your emails, it's still there. I am sure that you are ware that the rebate is $10 and not $30 as you state.
Regardless, as a member of the first council, you voted on three contracts that all had rebates in them; Marriott Philadelphia, Omni Dallas and Sheraton San Diego (Contract approved by 1st UNAA Council but never signed).
We have a debt from Philadelphia 2012, and had the difficult but necessary decisions been taken then, we wouldn't have left a debt. As Chairman of the Dallas LOC, we took difficult but necessary decisions and that is how we were able to leave Dallas without a debt despite the problems we had that led to the UNAA Treasurer's resignation.
As President, I will not shy away from making the difficult but necessary decisions to not only leave San Diego without a debt, but God willing have enough money to begin making a dent in not only the UNAA Philadelphia debt, but all past UNAA debts as well.
I urge all UNAA Members to help that cause by staying at the Hyatt Regency La Jolla Hotel and to registering for the 26th Annual UNAA Convention.
